COPYWRITING & BRANDING

As a writer, I've done a lot of stuff over the years. While the bulk of my work is now in film and TV, I've been persuaded by friends or money to ghostwrite strategic communications, including press releases, brochures, websites, packaging, technical writing and more. The only reason I still entertain this type of consulting and writing work is to help a well-meaning entrepreneur or a good cause. If you're either one of those, feel free to reach out. 

Some past work includes brand copy that helped a Canadian baby shoe company win an award for Best Corporate Identity from Communication Arts, the largest international trade journal of visual communication.

And at the request of the British Columbia Ministry of Education and MSK Productions Inc., I created a companion study guide for The Boy Inside, an award-winning documentary film about high-functioning autism. That guide helps teachers use the documentary to raise awareness about Asperger's syndrome in schools.
